Imagine the joy of your child’s face when he or she is able to “swim” on their own. That was what happened yesterday when I decided to asked my daughter to put on the Original Konfidence Jacket and to start “swimming on her own”. Initially, she still insisted that I hold her so that she will not “sink” - does this sound familiar?
I have been “teaching” my daughter to swim for the past year without much result. So we decided to start her in a swimming school early this year, and so far she has attended 3 1-hour lessons. And I coached her an extra hour outside of swimming lessons, wanting to get her to have more practice. But she was still “struggling” with her buoyancy while “juggling” to kick.
When we hit the pool yesterday, I was determined to get her to “swim on her own” as I know with the lessons she has received and the jacket, it should be an achievable task. She had her Original Konfidence Jacket on, and initially asked me to hold her. I held her just with my thumb and index finders as the jacket was doing most of the “work”, and I focused to give her some tips on how she should be kicking her legs - straighten her legs and not bending too much.
Within minutes, as the jacket was giving her body the”buoyancy” - she began to gain confidence. And shortly, she was “swimming on her own”. I have been “trying” to get her to swim on her own for so long that I was so overjoyed! The jacket gave her so much confidence, that she was swimming on her own and asking me to stand afar to watch her, cool! 
This made me realized that the main problem was her confidence to “float” in the water, which she was “struggling” and at the same time had to learn how to “kick”. So the jacket helps to give the little ones buoyancy, and allows them to focus on actual swimming techniques.
